8th grade Confirmation candidates and their sponsors took part in a short retreat on Saturday, May 1st. They spent the day playing games, receiving the Lord's cleansing forgiveness in the Sacrament of Confession, and praying for each other in order to prepare their hearts for the incredible outpouring of the Holy Spirit they were to receive the next day!
“The way we know He remains in us is from the Spirit that He gave us.” (1 John 3:24)
St. Wendelin Parish is so grateful to Bishop Daniel Thomas for visiting our parish on May 2nd to confer the Sacrament of Confirmation on the 8th graders of our parish. It was an incredibly beautiful celebration of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the 5th Sunday of Easter.
Please continue to pray for Robin, Landen, Jonathan, Addison, Carlie, Izzi, Isabella, Jett, Joseph, Carlos, Cole, Rilyn, Nora & Eli that they might remain in the Lord and be a fruitful vine within His Church!
