May Crowning

"As we honor Mary, who is higher than the Cherubim, and yet like us, let us pray that through her intercession we may achieve holiness of life, and a deepened faith, hope and love, as we seek to do the will of God in all things."

It has been a St. Wendelin Parish tradition to crown the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Christ, Mother of the Church, and Queen of Heaven and Earth, on Mother's Day as a way of honoring and celebrating our Heavenly Mother and offering special prayers for our earthly mothers.

A special thank you to recently confirmed 8th graders Carlie Instone and Joseph Portillo who had the honor of crowning Mary this year on Sunday, May 9th at the conclusion of the 11am Mass!
