LISTENING. The
student will continue skills from Spanish I and II and also
Recognize
how poetry sounds different from prose.
SPEAKING. Building on Spanish I and II, the student
will:

Retell a story, shifting from first, second, and third person.
2.
Produce complex sentences correctly.
READING. The
student will continue skills from Spanish I and II while greatly expanding
vocabulary.

Beyond the structures learned in Spanish I and II, the student will

WRITING. The
student will continue writing skills learned in the past and will:
- Compose
sentences, paragraphs, compositions and narratives about various topics.
- Use a
dictionary to select words that are connotatively correct.
- Summarize
a story or relate an event, using descriptive words and phrases.
- Compose
letters, both personal and business, employing correct style, heading and
conclusion.
