COURSE OUTLINE

Lifeskills class covers a variety of topics that will help you to adjust to living on your own.  Field trips and guest speakers are a major part of this course.

 

TESTS AND QUIZZES

Tests and quizzes will be given frequently.  You are responsible for any information given by a guest speaker or me.

 

GRADES

Your grade will be based on the total number of points earned by you divided into the total number of points possible.

 

NOTEBOOK

All students must keep a notebook covering all the information given by guest speakers or me.  Your notebook will be a part of your grade.

 

EXAM

If you have a combined semester average of 93% or above, you will be exempted from the spring exam.

 

GENERAL RULES

Bring study or reading materials with you to every class.  Leave materials in the hallway until needed. 

 

Students will be seated and ready to begin when the bell rings with four per table maximum. Seats will be assigned.

 

Students will show respect to all speakers.

 

If you are absent, it is your responsibility to make-up work; this includes any notes given by a speaker. 

 

Permission slips need to be returned as soon as possible.

 

No cheating.

 

Pop will be sold for $.50.  Please pay Mrs. Yoakum.  IOU’s will accepted, but need to be paid ASAP.
