Foods
Grading
Grades will be determined by efficiency, cleanliness of
kitchen, finished product, tests, quizzes and behavior.
The opposite side of this paper explains the grading
procedure.
Semester Exam
Your exam will consist of a recipe chosen by Mrs. Yoakum and
prepared by your kitchen.
Class Rules
- There
will not be any immature behaviors allowed. We will act like the mature people we
are.
- Only
four per table at all times. Book
bags stay in the hallway.
- If the
maintenance staff tells me of any food left in locker, hallways, etc., we
will sell what we make at lunch or after school. We will be selling certain items
throughout the year.
- Trash
will be taken out everyday.
- Laundry
is folded everyday.
- Floors
are swept daily after your group is finished. No one sits down until all jobs are
completed.
- The
group folding the laundry or taking out the trash for the day also puts
away the ingredients from the demo table and wipes it off.
- Hands
are washed with hot water and soap before beginning.
- A
missed class must be made up at home and returned for credit within two
weeks. I will send notice home to
your parents.
- The
foods you made in class will be taken out with you when you leave. Any food left here will be given to the
maintenance staff.
- Aprons
are worn at all times.
- Pop
can be purchased for $.50. We use
the honor system for purchases. Please don’t abuse it. Please dispose of pop cans in the
recycling container.
