Class Rules for Honors 10 and 12

1. Always do your homework; think of homework as something you must do.

2. Participate in class; this helps to keep you focused and it keeps your mind from wandering.

3. Be aware of your body language and non-verbal behavior.  I will know who is paying attention, who is taking notes, and who is engaged in class discussions.

4. Take notes.  Learn to recognize important information.  Put the name of class, date, and page number at the top of each page of notes.  Write on every other line.  Get lecture notes if you are absent.

5. Have all reading done ahead of time; always allow more time than you think you need.

6. Get help when you need it.
