- The T.R.I.P. program will run weekly during the school year, except for normal school vacations. Order days will be Monday by 8 a.m., with pickup on Thursday. During holiday weeks, the T.R.I.P. schedule will change to Tuesday 8 a.m., with pickup on Friday. A summer schedule will be published in May.
- Please include your name on each order form. Also include your phone number for cross reference purposes. A family must be registered before the first order will be accepted.
- When filling out the registration form, participants will designate where their T.R.I.P. credits are to be applied. They may be designated to the following:
- The family’s tuition account,
- A relative or friend’s tuition account,
- St. Wendelin Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance Fund,
- St. Wendelin Catholic Schools General Operating Fund.
- Futures account for future St. Wendelin students.
- Gift certificates are purchased at face value from T.R.I.P. in increments ranging from $5 to $500. As T.R.I.P. purchases are made, a percentage of each purchase is credited to a family’s T.R.I.P. account. Of the percentage designated by the business, 75% credit will be assigned to the family; 25% credit is assigned to St. Wendelin Catholic Schools.
- All certificate orders must be accompanied by a check (payable to St. Wendelin T.R.I.P.), credit card, debit card, or cash. Orders paid by credit card or debit card must total $100 minimum, and will be charged $3 convenience fee per transaction. T.R.I.P. certificate purchases are not tax deductible because participants receive dollar-for-dollar value.
- Any check returned because of non-sufficient funds (NSF), will incur a $20 fee. The T.R.I.P. coordinator will request payment of the amount of the certificates plus $20, and will hold certificates and further orders until the NSF transaction is paid.
- A receipt will be provided with each order, listing T.R.I.P. certificates and credits purchased. It will not include your Kroger purchases. It is critical for each family to retain these receipts, as no semi-annual updates will be furnished. Personal statements will be available in mid May for each families credits. Each June, a participating family’s tuition invoice will indicate the amount of T.R.I.P. credit accumulated during the past year. This amount will be deducted from tuition due for the following academic year.
- T.R.I.P. certificates are the same as cash and become the property of the purchaser. They may not be returned or exchanged. Neither St. Wendelin Catholic Schools nor the T.R.I.P. program can accept responsibility if your certificates are lost, stolen or destroyed. If you request that your T.R.I.P. certificates be mailed, St. Wendelin Catholic Schools accept no responsibility for their loss or theft. Please use your T.R.I.P. certificates in a timely manner. T.R.I.P. certificates cannot be replaced if they expire or the company goes out of business.
- When you pick up your T.R.I.P. certificates, check your order and verify its accuracy. Your signature on the pickup form indicates you have received the order in its entirety. In the event you should find a discrepancy in your order, please inform the T.R.I.P. coordinator immediately.
- Children at school may pick up orders if their parents have filled out a disclaimer on the registration form. If a participant would like another adult to pick up their order, they may simply indicate that name on the order form. St. Wendelin Catholic Schools and the T.R.I.P. program do not accept responsibility for certificates delivered in this manner.
- If, for any reason, your student(s) no longer attends St. Wendelin Catholic Schools, and there is no tuition balance due, any remaining T.R.I.P. credits may be designated to another family, to the schools’ Tuition Assistance Fund, or to the schools’ General Operating Fund. No cash refunds will be issued. After 30 days, if no transfer has been requested, the credit will be applied to the schools’ General Operating Fund.
- A family whose only student enrolled in St. Wendelin Catholic Schools is a senior may apply T.R.I.P. credits to graduation fees. Any remaining T.R.I.P. credits may be designated to another family, to the schools’ Tuition Assistance Fund, or to the schools’ General Operating Fund, within 30 days. T.R.I.P. credits can not be used for any other purposes such as activity fees, fundraisers, or registration fees.
