ST. WENDELIN SCHOOL

MOVING FORWARD WITH FAITH AND POSSIBILITIES

The Elementary Playground equipment was moved from the Wood St. campus to the Countyline St. campus on Friday, July 9. There were many people who helped to make this move go smoothly. We would like to especially acknowledge:

  • Moes Body Shop
  • Ohio Operators Engineers Apprenticeship & Training Local 18
  • Findlay Plumbing & Heating
  • Weber Construction
  • Sunbelt Rentals
  • McDonalds -- Mr.Larry Ball

The new 6 th grade classroom and the new Elementary computer lab are in progress and will be completed soon.

Shelving and furniture from the Wood St. library was moved and installed to room 202 at the Countyline St. campus. Mrs. Cindy Taylor, librarian, is in the process of getting the books back on the shelves. A special thank you to Alice and Roger Haubert for painting both the new library and the 6 th grade room, as well as Mel Schreiner, Greg Schreiner, Wayne Schreiner and Terry Krupp for their assistance in organizing the new space and moving the furniture.

The New Beginnings committee has met and will have a plan in place by the end of July

The traffic/parking logistics committee presented their plan to the Transition Team on July 13. The plan will be ready to go by Aug. 1.

There will be an Open House for all parents and their students on Thursday, August 12. To accommodate work schedules, there will be an Open House in the morning from 11:00 am to Noon and one in the evening from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. At that time, information will be shared concerning the transition and the start of the school year. A letter will be sent to all families.

Any questions or suggestions should be directed to transition@stwendelin.org. Please include contact information with your message.

Technology Department Fundraiser

Do you have old cell phones around the house? Or do you have used Printer Toner Cartridges laying around? The Technology Department is starting a Recycling Program where we will send in any old cell phones and old cartidges and receive cash for those objects. That money will be used to help cover technology costs for our parish and schools. Please consider dropping those items off at the Parish or High School. THANK YOU!
